PlotaViz

A cross-platform desktop app that works out the right chart for your data, draws it, and hands you the Python code that reproduces it.

• —A rules engine maps data shape to candidate charts; a scoring layer ranks them against the real column statistics and explains every pick in plain language.
• —Runs fully offline. The optional LLM layer only breaks close ties and powers a query bar — it returns a validated chart spec, never executable code.
• —Exports PNG/SVG/PDF, interactive HTML, or a standalone script that runs without PlotaViz installed. The headless core imports no Qt, so the whole pipeline works in CI.
